Nigerian teacher ‘stabbed after trying to confiscate pupil’s mobile phone’

A Nigerian born supply teacher, Vincent Uzoma  was stabbed by a 14 year-old student at Dixon Kings Academy, Bradford, UK  as he tried to confiscate the pupil's mobile phone during a Science lesson.

According to Metro UK, Vincent Uzoma 50, is believed to have been stabbed with a kitchen knife in the stomach before the student attacker fled the scene.

Uzoma's injury is not life threatening.

The teenager who attacked the supply teacher has been arrested by the police and currently in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder.
