A regular glass of red wine boosts performance in bed, says Scientists


 A regular glass of red wine cuts a man's risk of impotence by ten per cent, scientists say.
 Food and drink rich in antioxidant compounds called flavonoids- such as berries, citrus fruit, radishes and red wine- starve off erectile dysfunction by boosting blood flow.

 A diet high in flavonoids is said to be as good as boosting performance in bed as five hours of brisk walking a week.

 Exercise has already been shown to be beneficial and when the diet and activity are combined, middle-aged men saw their risk of impotence fall by 21%

 According to Sun newspaper, the Lead researcher, Professor Aedin Cassidy of the University of East Anglia, said: " Flavonoids are present in many plant-based foods.
