Korean International Co-operation Agency to invest US$8.56 million for e-governance project in Nigeria

The Korean International Co-operation Agency has invested US$8.56million in training and implementation for Nigeria's e-governance project.

E-government consists of digital interaction between citizens and their government .

According to telecom paper, Minister for Communication, Barr. Adebayo Shittu, said the collaboration with the Korean government  for the e-governance project will enhance Nigeria's capability for efficiency, transparency and accountability in governance with it's attendant benefits trickling down to the masses.

The Minister confirmed the project has three components:

a) Establishing e-government master plan
b) A capacity development programme and
c)Establishing e-governance training centre in Nigeria.
