Saraki , Wife and Brother among wealthy foreigners buying up London's top properties

Dr. Saraki , President of the Nigerian Senate and his wife have been named among wealthy foreigners buying up London's top properties.

According to The Times newspaper, Dr. Saraki and his wife own at least two prime properties in London.

One is a £4.5million property in Bourne street, London which backs on to a similarly sized dwelling owned by his wife, Toyin, through a Seychelles company, Sandon Development.

 His brother Laolu Saraki, co-owns shares in two British Virgin Island companies with Kojo Anan, son of Koffi Anan, Former Head of UN.

Mr Anan's lawyers said his companies operate in accordance with the laws and regulations of the relevant Jurisdictions and pay taxes where they are due to be paid.

Dr. Saraki and his wife have been questioned over alleged corruption in Nigeria and arrest warrant was issued for him last year.

The couple denies wrongdoing. Dr. Saraki is currently facing corruption charges in Nigeria including a failure to declare assets.

Wealth specialists New World Wealth's annual Millionaire Migration report has named Nigeria as one of the African countries that top the list of millionaires still pouring into London.
