"As a former president, I have what i call residual responsibility for this country. I will continue to work for the unity and progress of Nigeria"- Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

In an ideal world, two parties come together because of ideological similarities, however, in our kind of politics,
'Parties even on the opposite ends of ideological poles will come together, as long as the alliance enables the eventual possibility of power'. You can tag it Opportunist politics but that's now the new norm.
The broom may not drain the swamp, once you start divisive political rhetorics that create doubts and misalignment.
'Today even the most marginalised group wants access to opportunities that will enable them improve their lives'.
The party that creates the best conversation about Freedom, Equality, Solidarity, Tolerance, Respect for nature and others, Shared Responsibility,  Full Participation-Inclusiveness, will be favoured.

Owelle understands the polity very well and he plays it to the gallery.
