The hard truth about political lies

"It is very very clear, that unless this issue is drastically addressed , unless there is a co-ordinated national strategy to deal with this issue, the nation may descend into chaos. This is the hard truth about political lies."-Uche Okeke. Photo: Google Images.

The ruling All progressive Congress Party wrote beautiful manifesto to win elections. One of their campaign promises is to restructure the political system for development.

We all know it's one of those political lies going by the body language of the party leadership. Timi Frank has just confirmed the fears of many about the insincerity of the party leadership who build their ambition on political lies.

Election pledges are being torn up, all consigned to the dustbin. There is clearly no decision making as there is no president.

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubabakar, a chieftain of the party couldn't hide his disappointment with the ruling party. In a recent public lecture at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Alhaji Abubakar declared that the ruling APC party has failed Nigerians. According to him, the citizens are yet to witness the change promised to them by the APC-led administration.

The ruling party has just appointed Governor El-Rufai as the chairman of the party's committee on restructuring. This is a man who has never hidden his opposition to restructuring ...

Basically, the setting up of the  committee is just to buy time . The hard truth is that the country may descend into chaos unless drastic action is taken to address the burning issue of our time.  It may not be business as usual..... The signs are there, Everyone is warning that this crisis is going to happen......

It is very very clear, that unless this issue is drastically addressed , unless there is a co-ordinated national strategy to deal with this issue, the nation may descend into chaos. This is the hard truth about political lies.

Restructuring the country remains the only option to end the dependency culture created by the centralist system and achieve economic liberation. We need a new leadership to power the country for the challenges of the 21st century.
